Turkey Distributed Electric Wheelchairs to Palestinians

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) distributed electric wheelchairs to Palestinians with special needs in Ramallah in the West Bank.

TİKA plans to distribute a total of 50 electric wheelchairs, 5 in each city, to Palestinians with special needs in the West Bank. The distribution began in the city of Ramallah.

In his statement, TİKA’s Palestine Coordinator Ahmet Refik Çetinkaya noted that the electric wheelchairs were delivered to Palestinians with special needs in Ramallah and that the distribution would continue in other cities in the West Bank after Eid al-Adha.

Çetinkaya stated that Turkey would continue to help the people and government of Palestine in various fields.

Stating that they found Turkey’s support valuable, Governor of Ramallah and Al-Bireh Laila Ganem said, “The assistance provided for Palestinians with special needs who live under occupation and difficult economic conditions is thankworthy. We find this assistance remarkable and would like to thank you for this moral support. Besides, we would like to express our deepest gratitude for the support you provide for our liberation from the occupation.”
